The CVSF's mission of supporting Colorado's veterans can be fulfilled with generous support by individuals, businesses, and nonprofit entities by contributing as follows:
Serving in the United States armed forces is one of the highest callings as an American citizen. Supporting our nation's veterans is an admirable calling that individuals, businesses, and nonprofit entities can fulfill.
Contribute today in honor of a family member or friend who was or is a veteran!
The CVSF is unique because all expenses incurred by the foundation are absorbed by the Executive Director or members of the Board of Directors. Therefore, 100% of all donations to the foundation are distributed to support Colorado veterans. The Executive Director and Board members receive no compensation.
National and state veterans' programs do not support all of the needs of some Colorado veterans. Contribute to the CVSF to help "fulfill that void."
Contributions may be made by check payable to:
Colorado Veterans Service Foundation
and mailed to:
Richard Hogue, Executive Director,
Colorado Veterans Service Foundation

Contribute to the CVSF using a Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD) from an IRA when you must take a required minimum distribution at age 701/2 or over, which is normally taxable. When using a QCD the distribution is tax-exempt when the payment is made from your IRA directly to the CVSF. See IRS Publication 590-B for more information, or contact your tax advisor to determine whether a QCD will benefit you.
